Events

Every year the Model Engineering Society 'Stoomgroep West' organizes events. The international Steamdays around the end of April and the Halloween Ghost night.

International Steamdays
During this annual event, we welcome visitors from other Dutch clubs and of course from abroad. Our friends from Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom, just to mention some of them, show (and often drive) their (new) models. Steam, diesel or electric. And this goes beyond locomotives: where else will you be able to see such a unique collection of trains, streetcars, model boats and steam tractors? And there are numerous model engineers showing what they built or hobbyists offering all kinds of tools, equipment, materials and so on.
